Romanian Association for Rare Diseases (ARCrare), supported by Novartis Oncology, organizes the first edition of „Adriana exists!” Hope and Solidarity for Patients with Rare Diseases Gala Dinner, on November 22nd 2012 in Bucharest. The event is part of a national awareness campaign for rare cancers.
Marius Manole and Medea Marinescu, Bucharest National Theatre’s actors, are MCs of the event. Along with Dan Puric, famous Romanian actor, they played the video dedicated to Adriana’s story, a video on which the entire campaign is centered on.
Romanian Association for Rare Diseases (ARCrare) is an active Romanian not for profit organization dedicated to helping the Romanian patients suffering from rare diseases. In Romania, over 10.000 patients with rare disease find themselves in the difficult situation of not having sufficient access to medications due to the under financing of the healthcare system.
